Shipping – The Important Stuff
We dispatch fast and pack with care. Once your parcel leaves us, it’s in courier hands.
Processing Times
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days. During launches, clearance sales, and peak periods, processing times may be slightly longer. Express shipping refers to courier transit time once your parcel has been dispatched — it does not mean same-day packing.
Delivery Timeframes
Delivery estimates are provided by the courier and can vary depending on your location, weather events, peak periods, or customs processing. Once your order has been dispatched, tracking details are provided. It is the customer’s responsibility to monitor tracking updates and collect parcels when required.
Incorrect Addresses & Returned Parcels
Please double-check your shipping details before completing your order. Parcels returned due to incorrect or incomplete addresses, failure to collect, delivery refusal, or unpaid customs duties may incur re-shipping fees. International returned parcels are subject to an additional $20 AUD Returned to Sender processing fee.
International Orders
For orders shipping to the United States and Canada, applicable duties and taxes are calculated and collected at checkout to help ensure a smoother delivery process.
For all other international destinations, import duties, taxes, and customs fees may be applied by your country’s customs authority and are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Salty Shreds complies fully with international shipping regulations and does not undervalue items, mark orders as gifts, or alter customs declarations.
Delays & Delivery Issues
Once a parcel is marked as delivered by the carrier, it is considered fulfilled. If your parcel appears delayed or is marked delivered but not received, please contact the courier directly first. We are happy to assist where possible, however delivery timeframes and final delivery are controlled by the carrier.
Free Shipping
Free standard shipping on AU/NZ orders over $170 applies to garments only. Additional product ranges will incur standard shipping rates.

Due to rising postage costs, carrier delays, and increased international risk, shipping rates may change from time to time.
Our garments are high quality and often heavy. Offering flat-rate shipping is the most cost-effective option for our customers, even though it frequently costs us more to send.

Carrier delivery timeframes are estimates only and may change due to peak periods, weather events, customs processing, or network delays.

Express shipping refers to courier transit time once your parcel has been collected — not processing time.
During clearance events, please allow up to 7–10 business days for dispatch due to high order volumes.

United States
Orders to the United States are shipped via FedEx Express (1–3 business days from dispatch).
Applicable duties and taxes are calculated and collected at checkout to help ensure a smoother delivery process.
All Other Countries (Prices in AUD)
Standard International – $45.00–$61.00
Express International – $54.95–$64.95
Priority Dispatch – $60.00–$70.00
Import duties, taxes, and customs fees for these destinations may be applied by your local customs authority and are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Skateboards & Balance Boards Shipping
Shipping costs vary due to weight and size.
Australia, New Zealand, USA and International pricing applies as listed at checkout.
Boards are carefully inspected and packed prior to dispatch.
Insurance
Optional shipping insurance may be available at checkout.
If a parcel is officially declared lost in transit by the carrier and insurance has been purchased, a replacement will be issued where stock is available.
Insurance does not cover incorrect addresses supplied at checkout.
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, you must:
• Photograph packaging immediately
• Notify us within 24 hours
Claims must be lodged with the courier within required timeframes.
This does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Tracking Your Parcel
Tracking is provided for all shipped orders.
It is the customer’s responsibility to:
• Monitor tracking updates
• Ensure availability for delivery
• Collect parcels from the post office if required
Once marked as delivered by the carrier, the order is considered fulfilled.
If a parcel is marked delivered but not received, customers must first contact the courier directly.
We are happy to assist where possible, but we cannot control carrier delivery once dispatched.
Incorrect Address & Returned Parcels
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping details.
If a parcel is returned due to:
• Incorrect address
• Failure to collect
• Delivery refusal
• Unpaid customs duties
It will be handled in accordance with our Returns & Unclaimed Orders Policy.
Re-shipping fees apply.
International returned parcels are subject to an additional $20 AUD Returned to Sender processing fee.
Unclaimed parcels will be held for the timeframe stated in our Returns Policy before being treated as abandoned goods.
International Orders & Duties

If additional customs charges are applied and not paid, parcels may be returned to sender and re-shipping fees may apply.
Some countries have lower import thresholds, meaning duties and taxes may apply even on smaller orders.
Clearance Sales
During clearance sales:
• Processing times may extend up to 7–10 business days
• Orders cannot be amended once placed
• Shipping rates may adjust due to weight and reduced margins
Please choose carefully and triple-check your order before checkout.
Discount Codes
It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure discount codes are correctly applied before completing checkout.
We cannot refund or adjust orders where discount codes were not applied correctly.
Discount codes cannot be used in conjunction with store credits or other promotions unless stated otherwise.
Promotions are valid only for the advertised timeframe.
